The key
to a successful Association is the support and enthusiasm of it members.
It is important for everyone to attend the meetings and participate; low
attendance means that nothing may get done or perhaps a non-representative few
run things to the displeasure or detriment of the whole.
Remember to achieve consensus everyone must participate and be willing to show
consideration for the views and rights of others through compromise. This
also means taking the time to find out the facts and not jump to conclusion from
half truths, statements or emails that are critical of everything happening in
the community. Become involved in the Association, serve on the Board, on
a committee or show support.
You can also help the Association by always doing three things:
1.
Pay your Association assessments on time
2.
Cooperate with the Association, follow rules, help where you can
3.
Participate in a meaningful and constructive way.
The
value of your home and the quality of your community and the resulting pleasant
life style depend on your community Association. The success of your
Association ultimately depends on you. Ours is a unique and special
community that is worth a special effort to preserve.
